I have a older rainsoft system in my house. It has the old style head,everything. seems to be working normal, but lately the water has not felt as treated as before. Are the components inside needing to be changed. If so what is the process?

@fujimo54,
There is a good chance the rubber parts - O rings and shut off tabs need to be replaced.
