a 30 foot cable is suspended between the tops of two twenty foot poles on level ground. the lowst point of the cable is five feet above the ground. what is the difference between the two poles?

One pole is blue and the other is red. Of course, I'm guessing.

This type of curve is called a catenary. I was unable to find a simple catenary calculator online, but I got distracted by Wikipedia entries on natural philosophers....
