Can I use other filter cartridges with a Ecowater system?

I have an Ecowater RO undersink system. I have been buying my replacement cartridges from the local dealer. I was wondering - since they are not convenient and are 9-5 operation, if any of the other filter cartridges will work?

Still wondering about the filters. I've seen a lot on here about the Sears and Eco being from the same mfg - are the filters interchangeable?
