Deep thought in football. What is luck?

Saying "you make your own luck" is the same as saying "there's no such thing as
luck, only your own skill, strength, preparedness, and the like."

So Mr. Taylor saying "if you make it for yourself, it isn't luck" is consistent with
the "mantra", in my opinion.
