Wooden boxes no bigger then cigar box size.

Garage sales are awesome places to find them. I keep my other collections in them... lol.

@McGentrix,
Oh wow.
Where were you when I cleaned out my apartment.
I literally, had almost 28 boxes from around the world.
A couple I have kept, some I sold, but for the most part they went to goodwill.

A few were beautiful, hand carved or stained with unique colors... some with metal inlay..

sheesh.
I would have given them to ya . I hated to see them go but damn the clutter I had. couldnt even breathe in here!

I collect miniature games (miniature decks of cards, miniature chess games, miniature checkers, miniature parcheesi, etc.). You can also buy miniature video games, like a small LCD pacman game. I myself don't buy any miniature video games. I prefer classic games in miniature.

@shewolfnm,
gads. The horror!!

I like the ones with inlays. They are awesome and I admire the craftsmanship that is needed on some.

I know a guy collects lottery scratch off tickets, new, used, uncirculated - whatever. He presently owns over 30,000 of them. He buys, sells trades, with like minded individuals.

@ossobuco,
The good deal about being an italofreak is that people give you stuff (perhaps even avoiding purchasing for gifts), thus my cream and sugar set..

and I'm a fan of not purchasing for gifts...

@mags314772,
Dammit, dust doesn't count? That was my answer. I used to colect beer caps.

I know. I collect junk.

I have a collection of Petrified Wood Bookends.

Some of them have holes that were apparently eaten out by primordial insects.

oohh.. I should throw my hat into the "rock collection" as well.

Some of my favorites are Selenite wands.
I have a piece of Amethyst geode as big as my arm. Moonstones, Lodestones, salt lamps,Agate, Malachite.. you name it.
though I dont have large pieces of everything. Most, if not 75% of my stones are probably only about the size of my thumb.
