After having four impacted wisdomteeth removed, how long should it take for the stitches to desolve?

About a week according to this page.

The amount of time it takes for dissolving the stitches depends on the type of material. It may take around two weeks or less.

I think in a week your stitches should be dissolved. You have to take the prescribed painkiller which is given by your doctor.The following tips will help speed your recovery.
While your mouth is numb, be careful not to bite the inside of your cheek or lip, or your tongue.
Try using an ice pack on the outside of your cheek. Apply for 15 to 20 minutes at a time for the first 24 hours. You can use moist heat—such as a washcloth soaked in warm water and wrung out—for the following 2 or 3 days.
Relax after surgery. Physical activity may increase bleeding.
