If you put your email address here, in its entirety, you're opening yourself up to spam. If you say something more like "my screen name at yahoo dot com," I think that will stymie most bots. (Though of course it means any human who comes across it can figure it out, so you have to decide if that's OK with you first, too.)

how do i get to borat sister's profile? I know how to access profiles of people with one name (like dlowan)....but the two named people are a problem. i am just going to my profile and replacing 'dagmaraka' with 'borat sister' in the address bar but it is not liked.

I've got an ISP address that I never put in a public profile. Actually, I've got two. Had to use the secondary one on a website for something last week, and the spammers got it. It will have to go.

Another option for you all to consider if you have the setup is to set up a Skype conference call. Skype calls are free over the internet no matter where you are calling or for how long, from what I've experienced so far having made calls to China and Japan at no charge. All you need is the free Skype program and a microphone. What works best is a microphone/headset that you can get for as little as $25 on Amazon.

For those who need to use land lines, Skype calls from PC to land lines in the US are 2 cents a minute, not sure what international fees are.

Not something to do all the time, but might be nice to hear voices on occasion too.

AOL is now a free service and does have capability of setting up private chat rooms. You give the private room a distinctive name unlikely to be guessed by disruptive trolls--Able2Know would be pretty distinctive. The room does go away when the last person exits but is immediately re-created when the first person logs in from their 'favorites' tab. I just set one up named "Able2Know" so any AOLers can check to see if you can get in. Use Community Tab on the toolbar.
