Did you click on view to see what had been voted down? were you curiouse to see what you might have been missing?

Kinda defeats the purpose, doesnt it?

@dadpad,
I looked at a voted down thread, decided I disagreed with the consensus and voted it up.

@JPB,
I've looked everytime I've seen one so far; mostly agreed, disagreed once or twice.

I seem to like the default, which allows me to brace myself a bit before opening or just not open if I'm not in the mood, instead of being whapped upside the head out of nowhere.

Oh? Is that a better thing to do than use the report button in this Brave New World?

@squinney,
I don't think (but don't know) that there is a way to find them all in one place; I've just come across them here and there as I look around. (I have my settings at "all time" and "new posts," so can see EVERY post since I was here last, if I'm so inclined.)

They appear as a wee label telling you they have been voted down (I forget the exact language) when you see a list of threads.

If you click, they appear! Hey Presto!

@squinney,
If you have your settings at "topic age: all time" and "sort by: new posts," there should be a little spate of spam on page 3.

My "sammich thread" got voted down. I am deeply wounded.

@mismi,
I believe Craven was planning to 'vote down' all of the word games so he won't see them anymore. We'll have to mount a counter-offensive Cool

@ehBeth,
Experimenting with the thumbs. I voted down an "earn money" thread, and a "lose one hundred pounds" thread. The thumb count, whether positive or negative, will be close to an accurate indication of the thread.

@dadpad,
I voted down a bunch because I understood that it just minimizes it on my screen and there are tons that I'm not interested in. I hope that doesn't vote them down for everyone else. Not sure what the ramifications to everyone else are.

@mismi,
I figured it out...I know that they get in the way...I have collapsed a few myself.

I'm not gonna' take it personally. Right now anyway...hormones seem to be on an even keel...tomorrow, it may hurt my feelings - we'll have to see.

@Mame,
If you're the only one who does it, I don't think it makes much of a difference. If everyone or just a lot of people did it that way though, I think things would get pretty chaotic.

You might want to go the other direction -- tag the things you ARE interested in, and then operate out of "my tags." (The stuff you're not interested in won't appear there.)
