Remarkable? Yes
New?
No
Does anyone else remember Elsa the lioness?
If you dont, rent the movie or read the book "Born Free".
It is the true story of an orphaned lioness that was raised by Joy Adamson and her husband in Africa.
When she got full grown, the Adamsons taught Elsa to be a lion.
Thet tought her to hunt, they tought her to survive, and then they released her.
She subsequently joined a wild pride of lions and had cubs, which she would regularly bring to the Adamsons to see.
After a while, she went totally wild.
There are two other books about her, they are "Living Free" and "Forever Free".
I recommend all of them.
