More than 200,000 World youth day pilgims closed the Sydney Harbour Bridge and other main thouroughfares in Sydney for 12 hours as they walked from North Sydney to Randwick racecourse for a candle light vigil with the POOP... i mean pope.

I hope margo is coping with all the religious fervor.
I think the only safe haven would have been Secular Quay.
I'm coping by hiding in the house.
They wouldn't let me run down those who walked against the traffic lights and held me up on the way to work the other day!
Mind you - it's a bit like the Olympics - so many people left town it's almost pleasant to be on the roads (well, sorta!)
I imagine traffic in the city and on the north side would have been chaotic.

What a complete waste of tax payers money.. Every time I turned on the news all I could see was all these queer looking blokes armed with pitch forks prancing around in their frocks.
