It seems to me that American corporations should always follow rules about minimum wage and pollution control. If we are supporting of these things then it makes sense that we should support them no matter where we go. We say 'all people are equal' not 'only people in America are equal' therefore shouldn't we require businesses to pay minimum wage to all employees even if they are in an other country. The only reason we don't already enforce this in other countries is because we can't... we have no power there. But we have power over our corporations which are tehre so doesn't it make sense?

Hmm, what do we do if the opposite is tried, e. g. a country that allows slave labor tries to have its companies here in the US use slaves. Do we allow that? After all, country X has control over its corporations, even on foreign soil, yes?
