Home sick. Got a cold. So far I slept, watched tv, emailed in some work and now I'm talking to you! It's finally raining here after almost two months without.

In the next hour or so (before it becomes tuesday) I'll be taking a shower and going to bed. Ooohhh, the wonderful life of your average freak.

mostly same as the other work days - most people are done with the summer vacations now, many checked in to give me their stories, and I gave my brief one. Went out to dinner with 3 buddies to night - it was a great time at the Mongolian Grill.

Getting used to working in a construction site. 2.5 floors - 300 people - 2 bathrooms. yeah, that'll work. No photocopiers yet. They're still building the staircase between floors.

I am very excited about tomorrow - I'm spending the day at truck driving school. I've been wanting to go there since I started at this company. It's gonna help so much when I talk to my guys.

Cash is an asset.

It doesn't matter what I forget about accounting - as long as I remember that .

preparing for our trip to germany and switzerland - leaving on monday for a three week vacation(as if every day is not already vacation). so had to get euros and swiss-francs - see how long they'll last ! also had to give the whole lawn a bit of a brushcut, water the plants and bushes. but it wasn't all work ! we also took an hour for our noonhour-swim and had a nice walk along lake ontario. got to stop now, have to start packing; but it will be different this time, NO large suitcases, only two carry-ons each. hbg

I went to truck driver school today! It was fabulous.
I'm tempted to take next year's vacation time to take the full course.

Here's hoping the hamburgers have a wonderful trip!

Good idea to pack to have a lighter bag in each hand, you'll stay balanced. Hope you & Mrs. H. enjoy your trip, Mr. H.

I spent most of my day thinking about packing, buying some stuff to pack, debating about what to pack and finally... packing. Not quite done.
