I am glad you made this post because most of the time I feel insecure in my posts, especially if they are taken wrong. That is my fault, but I learn everyday. At least I try. There are members I don't like, but when I come across them on a separate thread I try not to let that dislike carry over. I don't always succeed, so I try again (no pun intended).

Oh my, I remember in high school, they decided they wanted to be politically correct. So instead of a moment of silence, you had the option if some one in the class wanted to pray they would let the class know and those that wanted to stay could, and those that didn't could leave the room.

I had an earthy crunchy philosphy teacher as home room. As no one wanted to pray, she suggested we use this time for various other crap (not her words of course). One day she had us singing KumBaYa. She was so sweet - the whole class actually stayed and participated - imagine that a class of teenagers singing KumBaYa.

Linkat, I'm amazed that your high school class did that. Gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling all over. My high school class would NOT have done that. We had some sweet nice earthy teachers. We made one cry. The other quit. Little angels, we were.
