Ok, so have we determined whether or not this "stimulus" check is an advance or simply a paycheck that will be taxed and put towards our income for 2008.

Really curious here.

If it's an advance, that sucks for me. If it simply goes towards income, I am not worried about it.

neither, it's intended to be a tax-free incentive; not income, not an advance.

HOWEVER, there is no guarantee that the base tax rates wont change which would pull it back as higher taxes.

THIS STIMULUS IS NOT TAX DEDUCTIBLE, SO NO JOE, IT WONT COME OFF WHAT I GET IN 2009.
