This would be huge. Something I never would have expected from Bush.

Pew Monument in the Northern Mariana s Islands
The creation of President Bush's "blue legacy" is monumental! And with the assistance of Pew's power and money, he could be know as the conservation giant we all know he is .... ..

Pew is proposing to create a National Monument that is over 115,000 square miles around three of our very small uninhabited northern islands (Uracas, Maug and Asuncion). It would encompass over 1/3 of the entire EEZ of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI).

We have been fighting with Pew since it was first mentioned publicly during November 2007.... The Governor has written both Pew and President Bush basically rejecting the idea. Our local House and Senate passed a joint resolution basically rejecting the Monument. Yet, Pew tells us that our decision was based on mis-information and that we must be further educated - I assume - until such time as we submit to their demands. Their arrogance is something we locally call the "ugly American".

For those of you living near marine waters - BEWARE - Pew and President Bush are looking to create a bunch of these Monuments before Bush leaves office in January 2009......

The CNMI has been infested with Pew.... Any ideas how we can cleanse ourselves without selling our souls or giving away our waters??
