One day, there were no eggs and no chickens. Next day, one came to exist. Poof. Just like that. When you're dealing with magic, it seems to make no real difference, even from a philosophical standpoint.

Well, you can have a look here to have an insight of the topic:

The chicken or the egg.

But I've found my own answer:

- One day, I was wandering around and sit down at a restaurant to eat something. I ordered some stuff and in a while I saw this beautiful chick coming up with my fried eggs. The chick and the eggs came at the same time...

The first chicken was a product of genetic mutation.
He or she came from an egg; the egg arrived first,
after having been laid by the mother of the first chicken.

See? Pure magic. First no chicken - next day, voila - chicken.

OK

So if I got this straight,
there is no difference between an egg and a chicken.

Right ?

It's right under certain condition.
There're few differences between them.
"An egg" means "a chick in a shell and it's timid and shy(every thing has its character you know)"
"a chick" and "an egg" are opposites In this connection
just like people have diffrent natures. But they are the same things
unquestionably.

Well, if its unquestionable,
then I will not be able to question it.

They both came at the same time.

Imagine a continuous loop of string. Now cut the loop with a pair of scissors. Which came first the beginning or the end of the string?

This is false.

At one time, there were no chickens.
With the progress of evolution,
the world 's first chicken was hatched.

He came from an egg; the egg got there first,
before any chicken yet existed.

This chicken or egg thing is an American koan designed to boggle the intellect and jump to another level of consciousness. Therefore, any rational answer is wrong just like any rational answer to the koan, "What is the sound of one hand clapping?" which would get a sound rap with a stick from a Zen master.

You have no evidence for any of your claims. What's the point of arguing?

The Cock came first because he laid the chicken.

Neither the chicken or the egg came first. The expression basically asks "what is life and how did it start". To use the chicken/egg expression simiplifies the whole concept. But to use that concept I reckon it goes like this...the chicken is a mutation from a batch of eggs from some sort of early-evolution type of bird and so forth going backwards down through evolution to the start of bacteria and down to elements eg carbon...which then begs the question what started life or got the ball rolling? Thats/this is the answer...we are all just mutatants of life/evolution...seriously! Suck it up creationists and biologists! Me, I say a colaboration of both. Bruce MN-NZ
