Bohne--

I hope life looks more appealing in the morning.

I've had times of mute misery with no listening ears available. Horrid!

Bohne so sorry to hear of your problems. Why don't you join me here in paradise, I'm not kidding, where I am at the moment. I could take you out diving and show you the great White Pointer Sharks in their natural environment. You'll be perfectly safe as you will be in a steel cage! At night I will cook you a feast of the best seafood available with the best wines downunder has to offer. You think that will brighten your day?

I wasn't only goofing off with gustav, I had some exchange with Bohne,
and I hope I could ease her mind a bit. Tomorrow will be a new day,
and we're here for her, in case she needs us. Very Happy

It most definitely would...
Unfortunately my boss says: No holidays!
And my bank account says: No flights to paradise!

You are all so good to me!
We did have a great and sunny weekend.
Went for a little bike ride and ate lots of ice cream!

Thanks for all your kind words and your positive thoughts that came flying to me!

Hi Bohne

My happy space is inside a book. I know you like to read. Just stick with the light reading when you're feeling down -- no self-improvement stuff or Dostoevsky!

(Or you could come here and talk to us Very Happy )

Bohne--

The older I get, the more capable I am of gritting my teeth and announcing firmly, "This, too, shall pass." Unfortunately I still add, "But not quickly enough."

Being a working military wife with a full time job entitles you to occasional spells of Daunted Spirit.

Hold your dominion.

How about going out to a fine restaurant for a comfortable evening 's delight ?
What is the best restaurant around your area ?

Maybe when your work week is over, u can go target shooting,
or visit your favorite museum, or go the zoo.
Do u have a backlog of books or magazines that u have yet to read ?
Maybe u 'd like to start writing a book or an article that u 've had on your mind ?

perhaps a favorite interest that is fun to pursue ?
I like vertebrate paleontology and cosmology.
Maybe developing the fine art of cooking, in your kitchen ?

or maybe surfing the Internet, or learning new computer skills
will distract u until your friends return ?

I play video games.

I know that sounds completely silly but it keeps both my hands and my mind busy so I don't fret as much and I am a CHAMPIONSHIP fretter.

When I need to talk I come to A2K because being "anyone" is really kind of lovely.

Hey Bohne...My husband used to travel a lot...three out of four weeks each month. I stay at home with the boys and it is difficult at times. We are pretty tight when it comes to money so we don't get to vacation as I would like. Yeah...I would have to say - I play a lot here - and I love my glass or two of red each night...but reading, movies, indulgent things are often a short termed fix for that feeling of nothing going right.

But that feeling always comes back...but the hope is - one day - it won't. Do what you have to to get through it sweety...take care of yourself, play, escape the best way you can for a bit and hope - and love that baby!

Hold your dominion'

I like what Noddy says...feel it is so very right for you now...

Get some cheap dark sunglasses, a fuzzy white sweater and jeans of your choice, drink 1/2 a bottle of wine quickly and then strut downtown for two hours without stopping or talking........it will change your mood!

The problem is that I need a babysitter when I want to go out.
I had one, yesterday, and I will have one tomorrow, and all weekend the munchkin will be spending with my parents, since I have a dive course and all my other instructors have deserted me, so I have to do theorie and 4 dives, plus some dives with beginners, since sunday is the official opening of the dive season.

(sorry about the long sentence...)

What I am trying to say: If I now go and say to somebody: Can you watch my son, I really want to spoil myself and go to a fancy restaurant, I'd feel terrible.

Also I don't think I could fit any more hobbies in my spare time, but I try and do fun stuff with the munchkin in the evenings and most weekends.

Does not sound silly...
I asked my husband for a WII for my birthdaz.
I don't usually ask for expensive presents, but I played one when I was in England, visiting friends, and it was so much fun, I knew I had to have one!
