Here she is, when we got her at 8-weeks. She's bigger now at 11 weeks. Hoping to train her to run rabbits. Except for the potty accidents, stealing clothes, harassing the cat, and gnawing on anything within reach, she sure is sweet. English hound. Barrrrroooooooooooooo.

She's very dear. You may be happy to know it takes a dog two years to mature as opposed to an adult which takes at least 45 yrs. So it won't be long till she's fetching your slippers.

Laughing My thoughts exactly.

Cute dog, but the rabbit thing is a total turn off.

Good looking dog. I hope she enjoys her training. It's nice that some dogs are still trained to do what they were originally bred for.

I wish I had the time, patience, and willingness to accept responsibility for a dog. My dad just got an English Springer Spaniel puppy, she's a nut. Eats loose tar off the driveway.

I agree. It's bred in the little pooch's bone to hunt.

I bet when you walk her she stands at the base of tree looking up for the squirrels?

I've always heard Springer Spaniels are nutty. We had one when I was growing up, but he was a mutant Springer, because he was smart and mellow and hilarious. As a family, we fought like crazy, but we all agreed about the dog being the best member of the family.

Sweet.

Having had a Beagle, I know you can't stop them from doing what they are bred to do. Neither can Thomas.

(Actually, there were no rabbits in the area... She was just messin' with him and having fun.)

Very Happy
