a man is lying down in a field dead, he is naked and on his hand he is holding a match what happened
people were flying in a hot air balloon when they were about to hit a mountain side.....they threw everything aboard to make the balloon lighter but when that did not work, they decided to draw matches to see who would jump....the man in the field is the unlucky one who drew the short match
And he's naked because...
Why weren't the matches thrown overboard first?

yes, i meant to say overboard instead of aboard....and they took all their clothes off and threw them overboard but that did not help
