I drive down the highway and pass six signs. Five of them are as follows:
Speed Limit: 50
Speed Limit: 40
Speed Limit: 30
Speed Limit: 20
Speed Limit: 10
What does the sixth sign say?
Well, unless you broke the law when you passed the sixth sign, it does not say "Stop". It certainly wouldn't say "Speed Limit: 0", since no such signs are ever shown. However, from the information given logically it could say "Danger: Deer Crossing" or "Eat at Joe's" or anything at all. I am sorry but in my opinion this is a lame riddle.
It's not breaking the law to pass a stop sign if you stop first.
Since the riddle doesn't state that these are the first five signs you passed, the sixth sign could be the first sign you passed (60).
Stop would be my guess, since the riddle tries to dupe you into saying zero.
Flagman ahead.
After all, this is start of Road Construction Season.
The sign does not say "Stop" or "Speed Limit: 0." It does follow logically from the other five, though, in a way that a non sequitur like "Eat at Joe's" cannot.
The five signs given are the first five I pass, in order from first to fifth as written.
It is not "Flagman ahead," nor is this Road Construction Season.
It's not that, but I'm making that my wallpaper...
I'll give a hint. Consider that "Speed Limit" may refer to something other than what it normally refers to.
So this isn't so much a riddle, more a mind-reading exercise?
More along the lines of lateral thinking, I suppose.
The next sign says:
"Welcome to Speed Limit, Saskatchewan"
So this is what people do to amuse themselves in Canada? That and count moose?
speed limit zone end
(or similar)

Well, I'd be pretty bored; I've only ever seen one moose...
Best I know, all the moose are in Idaho. Watched hundreds of 'em cross the road while I waited.
Cow Doc?
Canada: the most boring country in the world, where people say "Thank God it's Monday!"
