China has shown the world its true face once more. Most people are upset to see one small country being mistreated by a large neighbour.
.
It would be impossible to declare an embargo against China. We don't mind an embargo against a small country. Cowardly bullies love to pick on little guys, like Cuba.
.
To show China that the civilized world is upset, we should boycott the Olympics in Beijing. It would be possible to ask about 30 cities around the world to host one sport each. For instance: track and field in London, swimming and diving in Paris, boxing and wrestling in Chicago, rowing and kayaking in Los Angeles, the marathon in Berlin and so on. It would take some doing, but we cannot leave the athletes high and dry.
.
It should be possible and China would learn a lesson to behave. They could use the wonderful stadium to stage demonstrations without police interference.
Let's do it!!! I'm in!
Lets ban everything chinese as much as we possibly can.
I was thinking the same thing yesterday on this thread;

No we can't.
But what a splendid idea!
Damn sight less smog for them to deal with, too! (excluding Los Angeles, of course. )
Sigh. If only ......
OK, I'm volunteering Melbourne (Oz), to host the synchronized swimming!
OK, next?
Be quick or your city will miss out!
I guess Farmington could take on the skate board event.
That's the spirit, Roger!
Now who wants the shot put & high jump events?
No other cities available?
For such a good cause?
What bunch of poopers you are!
My Boycott is going good!!!!

Pleased to hear this, Amigo!
So is mine. But then I'm boycotting every product, from every country, along with the Chinese. Being seriously broke at the moment makes this very, very easy!
Of course it could, k! Go Farmington!
So what is Boston going to do for the cause?
Javelin, perhaps?
Silence from Boston ..!
London would jump at the chance of hosting the three-legged race  .
