Boycott with a twist

China has shown the world its true face once more. Most people are upset to see one small country being mistreated by a large neighbour.
.
It would be impossible to declare an embargo against China. We don't mind an embargo against a small country. Cowardly bullies love to pick on little guys, like Cuba.
.
To show China that the civilized world is upset, we should boycott the Olympics in Beijing. It would be possible to ask about 30 cities around the world to host one sport each. For instance: track and field in London, swimming and diving in Paris, boxing and wrestling in Chicago, rowing and kayaking in Los Angeles, the marathon in Berlin and so on. It would take some doing, but we cannot leave the athletes high and dry.
.
It should be possible and China would learn a lesson to behave. They could use the wonderful stadium to stage demonstrations without police interference.

Pleased to hear this, Amigo! Very Happy

So is mine. But then I'm boycotting every product, from every country, along with the Chinese. Being seriously broke at the moment makes this very, very easy! Razz
