I'm sure you've heard this. I was playing it in the car on the way to my mum's funeral so it always reminds me of that.



I suppose that's kind of weird. Bear in mind it's a long journey from Southampton to Yorkshire and we'd already listened to a lot of other stuff before got there.

Yesterday I went to see the Kid try out standup for the first time. It went very well, I'm v proud and pleased that the biggest laugh came from the gag I gave him. When I was there I saw a poster for the band below, and on return I booked tickets.

I'm going to see Gong on 25th May.

It looks just like a Telefunken U47.

Very odd memory/music pairing.

Gong are still a thing? Daevid Allen died in 2015.

I am really looking forward to it, although I do accept it's rather an acquired taste.
