60 Years of Israel: between Hatikvah and hell.

Israel is celebrating 60 years.

Hatikvah or Hell?

Is it the deliverance of the promised land?
Is it a dream or a nightmare?
Has it been worth it?

What of the next 60 years, any predictions for peace ?

Will there be one state or two states?

Why do you think it is a failure?
It is not a failed state and has been functioning quite well for 60 years.
Israel has made peace with some of the dictators like Mubarak and is gaining more acceptance amongst other Kings and dictators.
It has won the Eurovision with a transvestitie (not even the Irish pulled that off) and play soccer with the Europeans.
They have a thriving and growing economy with many multinationals investing in Israel, the future looks good. no?!

Israel has failed to provide peace and security for its own citizens. Without that you cant build anything. Its economy is a basket case, totally dependent on American aid. Its no oil and is running out of water. Moreover the Arab population is growing faster than the Jewish population. Jews will soon be a minority in Israel. On top of that the zionist state has ambitions of further expansion whilst totally pre occupied with containing 1.3 million Arabs in the gaza ghetto. It doesnt add up. And if you think a Jewish transvestite winning a song competition is the pinnacle of success, god help us.
