I am somewhere between close by my home town and in the same state. It's about 30 miles away. In MA that isn't as close as it sounds.

Okay, dagmar is 6534 km away from home, so it's about 6000 km for me.
Born and raised in Munich.

I live about 17 miles from Winterlingen, the town where I was born. I lived in Stuttgart for a couple of years, about 60 miles from Winterlingen.

I was born and raised in the Black Forest, in Germany, and now reside in the lower region of Missouri.

I'm not sure of the mileage. Can someone do a Mapquest?

If you can tell me who composed the song "You Can Never Come Down", sometime in the late sixties, then, my friend, I shall never doubt you again.

here is a neat calculator that gives you the distance between any two cities :

GEOBYTES

a/t geobytes the distance between KINGSTON , ONTARIO , CANADA and HAMBURG , GERMANY is 6,014 km or 3,737 miles .
we've flown to hamburg at least 10 times since ariving here .
let's see : return flight 12,000 x 10 = 120,000 km plus vienna , berlin , rome , granada , santiago de chile ... ... enough to get to the moon ?
Shocked
