I did some "deep internet search" and found a place on Turkey Point Road, named Joy haven. It is right off Canal Creek, a minor estuary from the Chesapeake Bay.

Very interestingly this is a military reservation operated by the Army - the Aberdeen Proving Ground, and the site of a major environmental clean up my company is doing now. There is a large, complex groundwater contamination site adjacent to an important wetland that protects the bay.

Lots of good sailing in the area - particularly farther South towards Anapolis.
