After registering, member X finds that he can solve any 9 of the 30 challenges to pass Level 1. Given that the order of challenge completion is unimportant, how many different ways can he complete the 9 challenges?
C(30,9) = 30! / (9! * (30-9)!)
It tells me that it's wrong. Can you please give me the answer?
I would ask people not help BlackB0Ns. What he is doing is an attempt to cheat on the site
www.rankk.org wich is a mathematical/puzzle/cryptografic challenge site.
Per the rules of the Pyramid ("Your mission here is to learn, discover and have fun along the way. Do not spoil the fun for yourself and others by solving the challenges through dishonest means. Anyone found cheating will be banned from the site."), why don't you ban BlackBONs from the site?
If you need help identifying BlackBONs at the Pyramid, we could feed false information that you could check for at that end...
