After WWII, Hasidic Jews were against the forming af a Jewish state (Israel), choosing instead to wait for the Messiah. What opinion do they have today of ISrael? Have they grudgingly come to accept it or what?

Ok, there are Hasids in Israel, most coming from the USA, but why the sudden change in tune? They rejected (were very strongly opposed to) the building of a Jewish Nation without the Messiah. What happened that they changed their minds?

I wasn't expecting a Hasid to answer me, but if you see one walking down the street, could you pull him over and ask him for me please?
