OK, so "what's in the water down there???" isn't actually a totally stupid question?

Can something be done about the stone-inducing properties of the water?

did you miss my post? we are called the kidney stone belt because of the high mineral content of our water...their are and can be of course other contributing factors...

Right, I was responding to that actually.

Can something be done about the high mineral content? Filtering?

Take care, Squinney...

I haven't been around here much for the last few days...very busy...but had to stop in and see how you're doing, squinney. I can't stand knowing people are in pain.

Is it any better yet?

I think the anticipation would be the worst part. Pain and more pain to come.

Squinney--

Can I help you howl?

Nope. I don't even think it's moved from the kidney.

Uroligist today at 1:30. By phone yesterday she said it was a 50/50 chance it would pass due to the size. I guess that means it's a 50 percent chance it won't? Shocked

I'm also assuming that if that 50 percent happens I'll have to have it broken up. Really don't want to do that.

She did call me in some more pain meds. Switched from Oxy to hydrocodone. It deals with the pain and I'm not as out-of-it as I was.

Will let you know what happens today at the doctors. Keep the good thoughts zinging for a "free pass."

Sorry. The Nope was for JPB.

Noddy - I went out to howl Sunday evening and I had deer munching in the back yard. I didn't want to scare them away. I watched them for a few minutes, thinking I'd really like to howl, when off in the distance I heard two coyotes howling for me.

I thanked them.
