What do you think?

"A city councilman in Utah, Mark Easton, had a beautiful view of the east Mountains until a new neighbor purchased the lot below his house and built a new home. The home was 18 inches higher than the ordinances would allow, so Mark Easton, mad about his lost view, went to the city to make sure they enforced the lower roof line ordinance.

The new neighbor had to drop the roof line at great expense. Recently, Mark Easton called the city, and informed them that his new neighbor had installed some vents on the side of his home. Mark did not like the looks of the vents and asked the city to investigate. When they went to Mark's home to view the vents, this is what they found………………"

Funny eVENTS. I would be pissed if I was blocked like that. But, what can you do except buy up the land that surrounds your house?

Why shouldn't the guy comply with city ordinances about the houses height?

The new homeowner should and the article you posted said he did at great expense.

The question is: why didn't he do that in the first place?

Was he expecting to get a better view of the mountains?

Could he care less of the neighbor?

It is entirely possible that the new owner and his/her general contractor were simply ignorant.

I watched the video and it doesn't look like the snotty neighbours care much about him either.

Laughing Laughing
Something similar happened nearby to where I live. The new homeowner built a house blocking the neighbors view. It went to court....the neighbor won so, the homeowner MOVES his house into a totally different neighborhood that doesn't even have views. That cost him a lot of money.

Laughing well, that I know.

But what about your tailor making you a suit five inches bigger (or shorter) than your size?

Are you going to pay and wear it?
