This is a riddle my friend asked me to help him figure out, and I am stumped. The answer is some kind of word. The clue is as follows:
Find this place & locate
the cat nearby, then seek out
whats missing in the CTR
Any thoughts?

This place is an island off the coast of Florida (like in the keys, I guess)...but I have no idea what the rest of it means with the cat and the CTR.
Island
As others I obviously figured this was an island at first. Out of curiosity where in the keys did you see that island....don't suppose you have a link to a google map?
i wouldnt want to give away too much:) im working on that one too but i havent figured out what "find the cat nearby and seek out whats missibg in the CTR" means.
Think smaller
Well as I stated at first I thought this was an island. I will give you a hint think smaller. I was stuck on that part too for a while. I have the cat but stuck on the rest. I was just curious since you said it resembles an island of the keys as well.
