it is a double lot. (not as big as you might think, it is an old downtown neighborhood) but it sides on the alley.
no room for a pond, mebbe limited flowers...
and a fence would not work very well anywhere it might do some good.
solid doors and windows and obvious security cams is gonna be my answer.
mebbe some motion sensor triggered floodlights on the alley side...
got me a generator this afternoon so I can work on it before we get the power fixed.
gonna go the minimal permit path...

stopped and got some gumbo...
my belly needed some attention and love.
tomorrow I'm gonna take gram to the bank, and then shopping.
then we will do a drive by of the house. until I get it cleaned out, the truck is as close as she gets...
then I am going shopping for a used garage door with tracks.
and kicking myself for scrapping one 6 months back...
I think I'm also gonna toss my lawnmower in and go knock down the weeds. let folks know that it's not abandoned any more. prolly try and do the locks and secure doors and windows soon after...
then I gotta decide if I can haul off enough trash with my truck and trailer to make work, or if I need to have my dumpster reset over to the new place Monday when I have it hauled outta here...
... on the same street as gram, but 20 or so blocks closer into town.
5 minutes from her house.
which is kinda what this is all about...
Well that's pretty cool.

@Rockhead,
It sounds absolutely marvellous - I like the sound of hardwood floors and lots of windows. Do put a link on - it would be great to get a better idea of it.
