but weighing the work against the debt and cleanup and continuing to deal with people that don't respect me, this is the better option.

gonna hafta slam out the vert before I move.

my other car is comfortable waiting for me to put up a building...

once the stress goes back down (I am wonky as hell this morning) things should settle in.

until I get an eviction notice, then the fun will start.

I'm not moving until I'm ready...

You'll make a success of it, I'm sure. Bound to be stressful, but you'll cope. The adrenaline will kick in and it will be all systems go. Hey - it's an adventure - good luck.

maybe that's what I need, an adrenaline drip...

I hate to say it, but I no longer look on adventures as necessarily a good thing.

a little peace and tranquility sounds like a far off dream...

I feel like a rat in a cage being poked with a stick mostly.

I think today's project is gonna be editing my shop.

stuff I can sell rather than move or store.

I just arranged to sell an old 4 bolt main engine block I was saving for a project that I don't have, and there is a lot more stuff I have little use for in the short term. (the 55 ford travels with me)

I find myself once again morphing into something new.

less car work in my future, more stage work...

mr vw called.

he needs a custom muffler built for a bus.

and I need to get outta here and be productive. sitting and waiting is not my best skill...

gonna load up the big welder and go make it work at his place. might hafta do some rewire first. it's 220v.

but I will have something to focus on and maybe my guts will settle down.

made fifty bucks. stopped and put gas in the truck, and got a little food from wally.

2 bucks left.

but Ima make some awesome chinese tomorrow. or saturday.

got rain clouds building up. again. still...

and I had a weird experience at wally's.

I saw my former father in law. actually heard him first. he's a talker...

I decided to get in a further away longer line so he would not wind up behind me. and he woulda, too.

then he proceeded to talk the poor guy in front of him's ear off.

showed him the "obama penny". and obama was every third word. lotsa muhammeds in there as well...

of all the questionable decisions I've made in the last 25 years, that one still ranks among the best.

I'm not sure if he recognizes me or not, and I have no desire to find out...

took a shower to get the iron smell offa me.

had a leftover swiss steak and some corn on the cob.

listening to the thunder rolling through.

gonna sit back and watch a movie with dink, I think. let my brain relax...

went scrapping for food money.

did better than I had hoped.

got gas and stinky food and a small bottle of wine. I need to relax tonight...

tomorrow I will go back at the scrap pile, and cleaning out the shop to paint. it is almost dry in there again...

gonna do the shower thing and let a pain pill mix with the wine.

then I will start making the world's best GF/DF chinese meal..

and settle in to watch the royals try and take another one from detroit tonight...

did sprouts and baby homegrown tomatoes instead.

getting sleepy we are.

tonight's movie is rollerball...

been mowing all day.

not even close to done...

but I did get a phone call for a big welding job.

horse fence down south of Wichita for one of my fellow riggers.

he had another guy we work with start it, and...

I had given him a card months ago in the eventuality that he needed someone to finish the job.

it was the same guy that I stopped mid motor swap and tossed his **** outta my shop. he has a problem with his finishing skills.

so anyways, some time next week I will go set it up to prolly do over next weekend. should pay somewhere in the 500 range.

enough to get me over the hump and into September, mebbe.

and sometime in the next few days I should find out if I bought the property next door...



working some fiberglass on the vert in preparation to paint sometime this week as well...

funny how quiet it gets when things turn south...

going to town to get my paint stirred.

and pick up a used notebook to try and sell between two friends.

and to start looking for a place to live...

(I do have a 5th wheel trailer I can purchase cheap if I have to move to the lake for a while)
