it's sticky out there. hadda come in and get a dry shirt.
on my rest day even...
but the tractor tires are loaded in my truck. no mean feat, as they weigh around 300 pounds each. the big ones anyways. the two little ones are around 65 apiece...
now we go see what, if anything, they are worth. it better at least cover gas...

well...
that was actually kinda productive.
made gas money and then some. might even go try and find some more tractor tires.
them things are expensive...
stopped in at C2 and borrowed my rope. I really need to buy my own this fall. but it all worked out. T wants me to come out to his place and cut down a metal fence and rebuild his porch rails.
so I am not in danger of losing my rope privileges any time soon.
but I hate to borrow sh*t.
gonna settle into the AC for a while, then figger out what is for supper.
found me some real (sheep) feta cheese.
thinking mebbe I grill a bacon wrapped veggie and cheese stuffed chicken breast...
as an individual evermore supplied in eggs, bacon is always on hand...
ham too.

damn.
looked west and saw big lightning.
decided I had to mow. with the push mower even.
it was too tall for the rider, and as I sit here and type, heavy rain is falling. I may lose power again. got my trusty flashlight sitting here.
burned through all my candles last time.
but I got my shower in, and most of the front mowed. the important parts anywho...
so much for a rest day.
gonna make some sprouts and try to crash before midnight...

lets face it.
I'm just not a morning person...
but I'm a lot better about them than I used to be.
no teetering on the edge anymore...

I can hear my grass growing...
it rains every night now.
apparently with some wind last night before I got done playing with chains and cables. my living room is wet through the west windows. and plants were strewn.
I'll not say much about last nights artist, as that's a good way to work less, but there were about 20 little girls (that was the audience, little girls and parents) that were waiting after the show for a meet and greet that never happened...
and I have a bit over 36 hours to get past the pain and stiffness of last night before I hafta be there for Rascal Flatts.
