@JPB,
The porch/ramp looks quite handsome. Are you going to use it as a pergola and grow vines over it?

@Butrflynet,
my tomatoes are growing up the backside of the porch this season.

if I complete the purchase I plan to expand and modify the front porch into more of a deck.,,

@vonny,
"I can see why you so badly want to keep on top of work ..."

that's kinda funny, considering my line of work.

@vonny,
I got some pain meds...

if you're not skeered of heights, put this on full screen and watch what I do for a living...

(I have no idea of the soundtrack content, btw)

and I got a stage call. that always brings a good mood.

income has been a problem this summer...

Ugh - just watched the video. No way would you get me up there. And how on earth do you manage it with a bad back? Rather you than me!

@Rockhead,
Just watched the second video - OMG, I feel nauseous. I hope you wear a harness!

One question, what do you do if your back seizes up whilst you're up there? On second thoughts, don't answer that!

Hope you get a lotta lotta money for each gig - gosh, you certainly earn it.

@vonny,
I have my own harness.

and our safety lines are overhead. we don't have to step over them...

I don't know where the video was shot, but our average show has 15+ semi trailers and hands flowing around like ants while we do our thing.

maybe it was a pre-rig...

I only go up when I have to. but I never say no.

@Rockhead,
It's looking brilliant. I have to find the mosaic path I posted on FB - right up your artistic alley. Found stuff eh.

Thanks for the pix and thanks to JPB for helping you share!

@ehBeth,
It makes my heart go pitter pat. Lovely.

LOVE THE PICS! I just saw them. Everything is so neat and nice. My back yard looks like we live in the wilderness. I am not kidding.

@ehBeth,
very cool.

I have a series of large wood rounds that make a path behind the mid pond. with vinca growing all around them.

next time I have the camera out I will shoot a pic...

the caladiums on the far side of the pond are actually blooming this year with all of the rain. (mr vw's as well)

never had them do but leaves prior to now.

I'll try and get a close up this week...

and the gourds are reaching over the trellis. I need to go put some chicken wire up over the roof supports.
