if I didn't have the well, I would not be able to keep growing out of zone like I do.
fortunately we are having April in July right now...
I should mow, but my back says no way hosey.

@Rockhead,
Caladiums are grown for their foliage, not their blooms. Pinch off the blooms as soon as they appear. My gardening expert friend says the plant uses so much energy sustaining one bloom, it will prevent it from forming 4-5 new leaves. The blooms are nothing special anyway.
We've sure had a bunch of storms this past week. Lots of trees down now, part of the city has been without power for the last two days. (We only lost cell phones for a day...lucky. Many cell towers were without power.) The city is cleaning up now, but we have a good possibility of more storms in the next few days.
Only 10am and it's been a long day already! Three years ago I'd never touched a computer, seven months ago I'd never been on anything at A2K except the crossword puzzling threads - and look at me now! Worried sick in case I can't get my daily fix of photos, music, and word games. How sad is that!
Having serious laptop problems - it isn't just freezing up now, it's having start-up problems, refusing to upload stuff onto Photobucket, doing a 'self-fix' and then stopping midway and saying it can't mend it, everything is going wrong! Can't win! I guess it's time for a new one - but oh so many out there - my brain is overloaded, think it will freeze up at this rate. I need an inexpensive laptop with a fairly large screen - apart from that I'm easy, just want one that works.
