you're going to have to provide commentary, RH.

@JPB,
I tried to get all 15 of them in a shot, but...

Buford is starting to get his feathers back. he's not nearly as ugly as when I first got him...

Thank You JPB.

@Rockhead,
The place looks great. You've done wonders with it. Worried about your back.

Say hi to the chickens for me.

@Roberta,
there is still a ton of work to be done, but most of it is waiting on closing the deal.

I think of you often when I am gathering eggs. I talk to my girls and they talk back.

the little step ladder is for Buford.

he gets on it to crow...

@Rockhead,

an ambulance costs about $1000.

That really is terrifying. I always think of the USA as being a centre of excellence where medicine is concerned. It probably is - IF you can afford it! The NHS here has its critics, but I have nothing but praise for it. I recently had a skin cancer removed from my nose - first class nurses, excellent surgeon, smooth operation involving skin flaps and grafts - and was told a week or so ago that if there is any slight puffiness remaining in November, my surgeon will perform cosmetic plastic surgery - all totally free! All at the hospital of my choice (I had three to chose from).

Oh, I must add one thing here - the surgeon who performed by op was an American!

@Rockhead,
Thank you Rockhead for sharing your beautiful garden - and thank you JPB for posting the photographs! Absolutely gorgeous - love every bit of it. And the girls, of course, they are lovely too. So much space, and so green and natural - you can see how much work has gone into it. You ought to be proud of yourself - not surprised you didn't want to lose it!

@JPB,
And Buford? Strutting his stuff on the left of the picture? Can't possibly forget him - a very handsome young chap - can't even notice a lack of feathers now.

@Rockhead,
Looking forward to seeing more photos - especially of Buford!

Good luck with the gig - I hope all goes well for you. I can see why you so badly want to keep on top of work - your place is worth it!

Looks like you are going to have a good corn harvest in a month or so.

@JPB,
Hmm, maybe that isn't corn, sure looked like it in the other photo. Now I can't tell if it is corn or the cattails.

Those elephant ears look great! Wish we had enough water for them around here.
