@Rockhead,
We've had abnormally high temperatures here in the UK over the past two weeks - the mid to upper 80's - and they are set to rise higher next week. The lawns are all looking pretty parched already - all available water's going on the borders now. Not that we have a particularly large garden - it's typically English suburban! But every inch of it means a lot to me. Love my garden!

@vonny,
we are flirting with triple digits between thunderstorms this week.

were it not for my gardens and pond, I would move one lot north. it's been empty for years...

that is still the emergency fall back position.

got my power bill payed. I almost forgot to go do it after all the maneuvering to acquire the funds...

@Rockhead,
Triple digit temperatures - not sure if England can handle them - it would probably melt! Our forecasters are threatening thunderstorms for the coming week. Oh dear - I'm terrified of them! Big baby, I know, but reason and common sense doesn't come in to it - I'm just scared!

Your gardens and pond sound great - bet the wildlife love it there.

@vonny,
I'm watching towers of clouds build west of me over the fields.

we are gonna get some weather before today is over...

and I'm watering anyway to assist the rain should it come.

I'm making a fish dinner even if we get tornados.

plans are plans...

It's raining like dooty hitting a flat rock in my neighborhood.

@ehBeth,
I have no sound, so playing music is kinda iffy...

And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

Matt 7:25.

my driveway lake is full. my grass is happy. (except for the pond lawn. it was raining when I got there, and very lush tall grass) I'll try and mow it tomorrow.

got photos taken of the front yard.

I prefer cloudy days for my natural light. I'll unload the camera after I make dinner.

got some mustard sauce cooking with sprouts.

awaiting the end of the rains...

@Rockhead,
not sure if it will work for you but I got some $5 external speakers at Staples that did a respectable job for the old puter when it was dying - it was sure cheaper than the $80 look-see they offered to do.
