I went and got some takeout gumbo while I was in town.

knew I was not in a cooking mood, I did...

the chickens are appreciative of the improvements in their house, but mostly it's the new ones over on the new perches. the old girls are kinda set in their ways. bet everyone has a sleeping spot now. tomorrow I will improve the egg laying facilities...

and continue trying to make a picnic spot outta the old chicken pen area.

kinda dangerous now to be trying to cut out old fence in the dark after a trio of hard ciders...

my elephant ears and cannas are taking off in the heat, and my caladiums are slowly raising themselves up for a look around above ground, too...

also gonna make an arch for my caveman's club gourds to grow over. when they take off, they go nuts...

this year's pond garden is already the best ever, and we're just getting started.

took a shower and a long walk around the place in the moonlight.

thought aboot laying some plastic, but my sober self that has to sand that **** off knocked on my skull and said no firkin way...

gonna play a little arcanum and crash.

Almost scared to post anything - my laptop keeps freezing! Had to do emergency shutdowns four times last evening and once so far today!

Smart. Love hard ciders...Angry Orchard is my favorite.

Vonny, check the fans. Sounds like your laptop may be overheating. Make sure the fans are working and that the vents on the bottom of the laptop are not blocked with dust, fabric or anything else.

it could also end up being me.

(I've been known to have that effect on British women and their laptops)

kinda rough today.

too much work in too much heat yesterday. gonna take it slower today. prolly not gonna leave the farm.

so far it's breezy and coolish in the house...
