weve been pulling barn duty for the last 3 days and were up to 31 ewes dropping lambs. Our lamb count is now 63. Even though we lost 1 qnd one ewe dropped a single, weve had 2 ewes drop triplets. (Triplets means we have 2 bottle lambs living in plastic washtubs in the mud room>)

Im sleepy and Ive gotta get ready for a trip tomorrow. ((((YAAAAWWWWNNN))))

Went out to a party at a friend's place.

I wasn't feeling too flash, and the atmosphere seemed a bit strange, so I came home early.

Next day they announced they were splitting up, after 20 years!

we had 6 more ewes deliver today. Ive gotta leave for a trip to Chicago and Mrs F has got help for tonites watch. (we have an Amish brother and sister who help during lambing season). Weve got 3 bottle lambs . I hope thats all we have because they dont shut up when they get hungry , and their bleats carry through the house. Weve run out of colostrum so my wife has milked out a ewe or two and saved it in freezer bags.

Well, see yaz all tom orrow night sometime. Ill get pictures when its not so damn busy.
