Anna Maria Island, Florida

We'll be wearing our swimsuits until the sun sets, then we will change into our Scrabble armor (jeans and long sleeved tees) and while dinner is prepared by our host(He's making something with beef and wine and caviar. yum) we shall begin the marathon of games. At midnight we will toast the year past, toast the year to come, offer hopes for a world in peace with an end to all the heartbreak everywhere.

Then I shall go down to the shore and watch the moon sail towards the West and hold a glass high for all of you @ Able2Know.

Florida sounds great, Joe. We will have to do that some day.

We will spend the evening with German, Swedish, Italian and American friends in Frommern which is a part of our town. BigDice will make roast beef and potatoes au gratin Swedish style.

And I will probably wear black jeans, a black shirt and something silvery underneath that.

Ein frohes neues Jahr!

At home, too, I think. Wearing as little as possible.
It's predicted to be 41 C here (almost 106 F), so I'll probably go see a film (in an air conditioned theatre!) this afternoon, with maybe a light lunch beforehand ..... then back home & try to keep cool (with a DVD, perhaps).

Is it always that hot there Msolga. You could fry an egg on the sidewalk.

Staying home. I want to be able to get up early for the New Year's Day boardwalk stroll.

I'll wear sweats or polar fleece. Set will likely be in a t-shirt and shorts.

Only if I insist he put clothing on.

And I do. I have elderly neighbours. Some of them have delicate sensibilities.

Going to a bar in Boston, a private party.

I don't know what I'm wearing, but whatever it is, it'll be good enough to pick up women in.

I thought you were heavily involved with someone. Are you back on the prowl?

Yup. My ex moved to Hawaii last month. It was something she always wanted to do, and it was perfect timing because I was ready to end it anyway.
