How can I do this if at all rather than clicking "previous" over and over again on a very long thread?

Many thanks.

Actually there is a way.

Page 145 would end with "start=1440" - so if you go to the last page of a long thread, you can go to other pages by changing that "start=" number.

Page 100 would end with "start=990".

The first page of a thread has different coding as it refers to the topic number, so this page ends with "t=73031."

the British Thread

for some reason I can only access Youtube as a link on this thread. Whe I try to use it through my normal browser on my PC it says I need to install the new Flash Player but when I try to do this it never works! Phew! that's the reason why. It's page 434 on the Brit Thread.

much thanks.

ok, the THE BRITISH THREAD II is currently up to page 501.

the URL for that page is
http://www.able2know.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=92414&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=5000

see how the last 4 digits are "5000"?

well that's the key to navigating to a particular page.

go back to page 500, and you'll see that the last 4 digits are "4990".

so to get to page 434, just change those last 4 digits to "4330"... and voila!

Or you could simply save the page in your favorites/bookmarks folder... or even just the link Region provided on your desktop.

for future reference, here's the Navigation Formula:

    p# x 10 - 10 = s#

p -- page
s -- start
