Death is important to a Christian. Beyond death no longer counts for those who die because where they are going can only be decided while they are alive based on what they did or did not do... non of us likes to talk about death, i dont like to talk about it, but i figured heck there's no other way most of us are getting out of here... So, it's important to know what happens after death for it will ultimately affect a persons actions while they are alive which will directly affect their condition in the afterlife... Of course no one's supposed to serve God out of fear eh?

This might be interesting to some of you cuz it was really interesting for me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WkzCladlPw0

The Bible says some things that we dont hear bout in church.

Let me know what ya'll think.

I'll be posting another one on Hell later one.

Why is death important to a Christian? Are you speaking of the first death or the second death? What does the bible say that you don't hear in church? What do you consider the afterlife? Do you know what is referred to as being the fear of God?

It's important to a Christian because it will ultimately affect one's perception of God's character. Beliefs like that of purgatory leave an awful impression of who God is and how He judges people. It is not even biblically sound. When a person understand the state of the dead from a biblicaly perspective they will see God in the light of pure justice and mercy.

Churches aren't teaching that, at least the ones I've come across, they are giving a false pretense of God's justice. There by indirectly robbing God of His devine mercy and love leading people to worship Him out of fear and not out of love.

Ultimately disrupting the entire Christian experience.
