It seems that Foxfyre and Hanno have a incredibly low opinion of teachers. This might be part of the reason I disagree with them so strongly.

If you think teachers are useless... then it only makes sense that you would support a system that gives as little leeway or room for creativity to teachers as possible.

Handcuffing teachers and local school boards is apparently one of the motivations of No Child Left Behind.

People like Foxfyre and Hanno have always been very negative about the American Education system.... yet they have always been proven wrong.

A deep respect for teachers is essential if you value public education. If you look at the role they have had at continuing a vibrant and innovative American economy and society-- they deserve it.
