Here's where it really gets tricky. The first one and the last one don't seem to fully transform from truck to robot. The second one transforms from a truck to a gun instead of a robot and the third one doesn't transform at all but is simply an action figure.


This is the kind of thing that is driving me nuts. You have to look at a million things to figure out what is what. There are seemingly dozens of versions of each one.

The trip to Toys R Us turned out to be worthwhile but even they didn't have a lot to choose from (the second store I went to was totally sold out). I managed to find two of the ones he wanted, fairly decent ones, for $10.00 each. Unfortunately they are neither one the one he wants most. Even Toys R Us was completely sold out of that model in any version.

Amazing.

Now I'm off to seek out a decent, lowish priced Bumblebee!

I found a decent Brawl for $10 today at Toys R Us. Bumblebee is the only one I need now.

I followed the Amazon link from the price grabber link you sent, caribu and found some new ones selling for $30.00 -- the same ones that are selling for double that also on Amazon. I wonder if it's worth the risk of ordering through one of those lesser price links that list the product as "New". I don't want to spend $30 on some busted up junk!

I'm still not sure what I'm going to get for sozlet. She wants a playground. Like, slide, climbing structure, that kind of playground. Not gonna happen.

I used up all of my good ideas for her birthday (which is too damn close to Christmas).

Mo's birthday is right after Christmas and that's nice because everything is on sale!

I do still have the model train left to buy but I have it all picked out. That will make birthday shopping easy because I can add on to the train!

Speaking of trains.... we're going to ride this one this weekend. Isn't it gorgeous!?
