Remember the old riddle with the two brothers: one would always lie, one would always tell the truth?

Here's a new twist I thought up.

What would happen if you asked them if today was opposite day?

(Keep in mind saying "Today is opposite day" would create a paradox!)

English is not my first language. Can you explain what opposite day is? Say today it's friday, what then is the day opposite from friday?

English is my first (and, for all practical purposes, only) language, and I don't know what it means.

Oh... it's more of a kids game.

Let's say that today is indeed opposite day.

By saying "I hate you" I really mean that "I love you" and likewise.

It can only really be used for adjectives and the like, but its fun seeing people's responses to various things Very Happy

so basically you ask them both if it's opposite day, and the one who says no is the one who regularly speaks truth,
