[answered] Where is my avatar?

Well, I found this, in my old collection of nice things:

Yes, I'm glad you have a copy. I thought it was gone forever. I've discovered that it's still on the user panel but nowhere else. I feel naked without it. What shall I do?

Well, it's probably a corrupt link on the server..

Go to the user panel
Right click on your avatar
Save image as, on your computer
Delete image on the user panel
Click browse on the user panel
Select the image (your avatar) you just saved on your computer
Save.
See if it works..

Thanks guys. Now it's back through no action of my own. But if it happens again, I'll know what to do.

What a relief! I thought my new avatar was going to have to be a wheelchair. Me in a wheelchair.........it doesn't seem to suit my image. I suppose it's coming someday. Better not to dwell on that for too long. Today my legs are back.
