I gather putting getting avatars set up has been a problem recently, and may still be, I don't know.

Click on HELP at the bottom of the page (not very big blue letters), and when they can, one of the mods will help you directly or direct you to how to fix it.

In the Profile link you can upload a pic from your computer.

When you're in that page scroll all the way down to Avatar control panel. There you'll find the link that says

Upload Avatar from your machine:

But read the note, "Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 90 pixels, the height no greater than 100 pixels, and the file size no more than 6 KB."

The picture you linked is bigger than 90x100, and it's about 12 KB.

If you're using a Windows PC you can use Paint to reduce the size of the pic.

Go to Image, then Stretch/Skew. You can reduce it by about 5 percent or so both horizontally and vertically.

Lol, Yup I'll probally work on it tommorrow I have to get off now and read "20,000 leagues under the sea" I was asspose to finish it today but I only got to page five because it was just that boring.

Actually, you'll have to reduce it by 50% if you want to keep the same WxH ratios as the original.

Hi,

An easy way for you to use the pic as an avatar is to right click on the pic below and choose save picture as. Paste the picture into the folder of your choice, on your computer.

Then choose profile on the site and go down to the avatar area and type in the path to the picture on your computer. Select save and the avatar will be available to you.

I have sized it to work as an avatar on this site.
