how do you connect each house to each utility without crossing paths?

On a 2D surface and in 2 dimension you cannot solve this problem.
One of the wires will cross, no matter what. You just simply cannot make
9 connections on 2 dimensional images without one of the lines crossing.
Can you tap into someone else's lines?
By connecting some of the lines and useing them for both houses.
