Those are 3 questions.

Did you mean "a simple yes, there's no question"?

No its really only one question.

Do you believe in God, or a power, or no God at all?

I just made it into a yes, no question with three parts.

I do not believe in an anthropomorphic god with omniscient, omnipresent, and/or omnipotent powers as defined by the Abrahamic religions.

I do believe in a god defined differently, as the Ultimate Reality from which the Illusory world arises. Ultimate Reality is infinite, yet does not occupy space/time, is indivisible and is without intent or consciousness.

So, Scott777ab, it all depends on what you mean by "God."

An entity that created or help move creation along. Regardless if that was through evolution or not. An entity that exists solely separate from the universe. Not based on what is in the bible, but sort of like that.

To take a question which has been pondered by humanity from time immemorial, and boil it down to a "yes" or "no" answer, is naive, at best.

well if it was a "yes, no" question to everyone, there *wouldn't be* any agnostics...

Depends --

If I'm particularly angry or hurt, I like invoking god's wrath on the step that jumped in front of my toe.

If I'm particularly happy or stressed, I like sending thoughts to my mother who is no longer living.

If I'm particularly bored, I like contemplating the meaning of life but I don't get too bogged down by it.

If I'm particularly struck by the beauty of my surroundings or the mystery of the universe, I accept that there are things beyond my comprehension that may or may not have had a helping hand.

Mostly, I don't have beliefs but I do have experiences that I consider to be spiritual.

maybe he just felt left out. or maybe it's the question that bothers him. personally, i think the thread is enlightened enough, but the question bothers me maybe just as much as it did phoenix. people force answers sometimes, where the process of asking yields more than arriving at a conclusion. maybe he just doesn't want people to shortchange themselves. i sympathise.
