Grits teeth while most rush to condemn the doctors.

Could we switch this to wishing Diane well?

I hope she knows that.

Tell her just in case.

Me too. But, I think she pretty much knows how much I appreciate her.

Some people come into our lives and quickly go.

Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts.

And we are never, ever the same.

JesusH, that is like reading your own dead thread.

Diane is fine right now, sort of, and she and Dys are my best friends.

No leaving footprints, that's too easy.

I'm out of here, going to start a good vibe thread.

I heard from Diane three days ago. She had an appointment on Oct. 30 with the surgeon. What the hell happened?

Scared. Upset.

Sending good thoughts. Hoping for a good outcome.

Noivous.

All the very best for both of you.
(Hell, I'd thaught all the time it was as simple as Mrs Walter's gallbladder operation which she had two weeks ago. Shocked [She got the date for the operation after our family doctor gave the referral, got same examination there, went home and days later back again for the actual operations, stayed five days.]

You meant September 30, right? Surely they aren't making her wait another 10 days just to see the surgeon!

No, I see now. Dys said first surgery on Tuesday... The 23rd?

Surely she didn't have to wait 23 days after seeing the surgeon!

First surgery is scheduled for this coming tues, the 23rd. depending on the outcome the remaining surgeries could happen all next week. Had it not been for the G.P. intervening on Diane's behalf she would not have seen the Internist/G.I. until the 30th of this month and that would have been to schedule the 1st surgery which would then occur sometime after that.

Been there, done that. Very sorry to hear of your wife's troubles, Bob. It must be extremely upsetting.

I hope the operation goes smoothly and Diane recuperates completely.
